phase 2 complete.

today began the crazy time.  there is a doctor appointment, business at the hospital, test, or procedure every weekday except Labor Day Monday through next thursday!  including THE haircut.  ugh.  i'm already tired!

had my last "pump it up" appointment with the plastic surgeon today.  and yeah, they are...whoa.  he said everything looks great and i don't need to see him again for six weeks!  yahoo!  that's one less appointment to juggle now.  awesome.  the best part is that now everything is pretty much set in there so it just feels better.  hopefully i'll get more range of movement in my right arm now and i'll be able to start doing more.  AND i got to pick up my sweet baby nephew when he reached up for me tonight!  he's a very busy little guy who hadn't seen his mommie all day so it wasn't for long but still, it was wonderful!  love it!

tomorrow is preregistration at the hospital for my heart and CAT scans and my port surgery.  i've already done some stuff over the phone but unfortunately for me, they can't exactly draw blood that way.  so pretty much, i have to go get stabbed tomorrow.  i sure hope it's a different nurse taking blood this time.  the last one used me for a pin cushion.  a bloody, bloody pin cushion!  i wish i could bring any of my wonderful nurse friends to do it but i'm pretty sure they frown upon/don't allow that.  thankfully, my bestie is coming with to hold my hand.

i'm all nervous about THE haircut  yes, stupid.  whatever.  blah.  and about chemo.  the standard "everyone is different" answer just isn't cutting it.  anyway, when i'm nervous i...well...i'll just say i spend a lot of time in the bathroom.  it's not fun at all!  i've got to calm down!  my Love reminded me of our lesson from Sunday.  i'm so glad i have him to do that for me!

i'd appreciate your prayers during all of this.  lots of things to do with the cancer stuff, lots to do in the house, and investing quality time with my guys.  it's not "spent" time with my guys or any other family members...it's an investment in love and memories!  i'm still regaining my strength and endurance from the big surgery and this is a lot of stuff!  so i thank you again for your kindnesses, thoughts, and prayers.  i feel every bit of it!
