lesson time. again.

my Love's pickup truck didn't want to start/stay running this morning before church. (he had to move it so we could take the car.)  it was pouring black smoke out the back and reeked of gas.   but he got it moved and we and went on to church in the car.

great.  the truck can't go in the shop!  we just can't do that right now!  what the heck is going on?!?  what are we going to do?

the verses this morning were Matthew 6:25-34.  verses 33 and 34 are "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

came home from church by way of the grocery store and the truck started right up and ran just fine. i kid you not, people! how's that for a not-so-subtle lesson?  maybe one of these days we'll learn it!  

God is good, y'all.  ALL the time.  even if/when you need a good smack upside the head!
