BIG day today. got busted outta the hospital this morning after having 2 more drains removed. so now i have 3 and i ain't gonna lie...they are GROSS! we have to empty them every so often, measure, and chart the results. they are generally just a pain to deal with too since they pull a bit and also seem to be leaking. eeewwwww!
the ride home was pretty rough. i promise we have the roughest roads ever in this town! i felt every little bump even though i was doing darn well on the pain meds. we went by Target to get all my prescriptions filled but were too early of course and just came on home. my Love hauled in all my crap i'd sent most of my gorgeous flowers home the night before in hopes that we'd be home soon!, i did a quick sponge bath, and i changed into fresh jammies. settled into my chair and had to nap because all that activity took quite an effort!! i haven't done that much in the last few days so all the activity really took it out of me.
my guys left me to nap while they went to hunt down some school shoes for Little Dude. i didn't mind a bit. i haven't been alone in DAYS. i enjoy my alone time! it looks like this chair will be my best friend for the next little while. it slept really well! i also got a bit nauseated...i'd be willing to bet it was from all the effort and moving around today. i'd love to have someone wash my hair but i don't think i need to push it any more today.
i have more "boob" than i thought i would! it's a good handful or so! no "fancy bits" but that's cool. anyway, he ended up putting 200ccs in each instead of the 100 he said it would be. apparently i had some extra room or something! i'll start getting pumped up i'm gonna pump <clap> YOU up! in a couple of weeks. from what i'm feeling right now, it'll be muscle soreness and just a little uncomfortable. and i have good drugs...i'll be just fine!
thanks again to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, concern, and encouragement! i felt each and every one, i assure you! i'm feeling much loved these days because of all of you!
okie dokie...i'm gonna be done now and enjoy my meds! ;o)
Sissy - see if your hairdresser would mind letting you come in every day or so to have her wash your hair in her sink. It'll be easier for you to lean back in those chairs than to lean over your sink and have it done at your house. Plus, getting up and moving (as sucky as it may be) will help you recover faster. :^)
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing woman. Love you!
i'm sure she wouldn't have a problem in the world with it BUT she's in H'selle and the ride home from the hospital did me in. can't do that every other day! Jana did a great job here in the sink so it looks like we'll manage. :o)
