they're baaaaa-aaaaaack.

ketchup is back!  tried it again last wednesday and it was not gross anymore!  and, much more importantly, COCA COLA IS BACK!!  this makes me so very happy!  the joy of a good Coke is like nothing else in this world.  mmmmm.  'scuse me while i savor a bit right now.  ;o)  now i'm waiting on chocolate to come back!

our Thanksgiving was so great!  we went to Texas to see my grandpa.  also saw a cousin and his little family and uncle and aunt.  always a good thing!  i love going to see him and Little Dude always has a blast, too.  the 12 hour drive pretty much sucks but i've been doing it just about my whole life now so i'm pretty used to it.  we left there on Saturday to go enjoy some good ol' bbq in Memphis.  and enjoy we did!  had dessert at the Peabody, too.  awesome.  i've pretty much been eating constantly since Thursday.  i'm hungry all the time.  a good feeling! 

i've decided on a few things i want to do when chemo is done and i'm allowed...
- eat a salad.  a freakin' huge salad. 
   forbidden (along with some other fresh fruits and veggies) because most folks don't wash each leaf of lettuce.  can't risk the germs.
- get a pedicure.
   again, the germ thing.
- have a...um..."frosty" beverage.
   it's not like i drink all the time or anything but when i'm not allowed, i just want it!  yes, i'm terrible.  already knew that.
- eat some sushi!
   yum!
- grow some dang hair already!

it won't be long now!  on Tuesday i go in for treatment 7 of 8.  i can hardly believe it!  the numbness in my fingers is a bit worse now and i'm having a bit of trouble manipulating small things.  small price to pay, i guess.  and definitely the most bearable of all the chemo symptoms!

back to the real world of school and work for everyone tomorrow.  it's been a great holiday...we've got so very much more to be thankful for this year!
