chemo number 7 is now in the books! my blood counts looked good, anemia is pretty much gone, gained 3 lbs, and best of all...NO SHOT!! wahoooooo! God is SO good!
i got all pre-medicated today Benadryl...wowzers. and the lady who does chair massages came over. there was a paper a couple of weeks ago telling us that these would be offered and we needed to sign up if we wanted one. uh, DUH. of course i want one! i'd never turn down a good massage! and of course i had forgotten about it until my husband reminded me on the way in this morning. sa-weeeet! so yeah. i'd just had Benadryl to the vein PLUS a gentle massage...i slept SO stinkin' good! and signed up for another one in 2 weeks!
the next 2 weeks are going to be the longest EVER! during the first half of treatment, the two week cycles went by so quickly. i'd get treatment, get the shot, deal with that, and start feeling better and better, and start eating and it was time for treatment again. i guess since this half of treatment isn't so terrible, it feels like it's going by so slowly. and for sure since i've only got 14 days left, it's gonna d-r-a-g by. i'll just have to keep myself busy, busy, busy! shouldn't be too hard since it's the holiday season and there's still a few decorations to buy and LOTS of gifts to be gotten!
start chillin' the champagne if you so desire. if you don't, go Judson style and have sparkling juice. it's yummy! and nailing down your official victory dances 'cause we're only 2 short long! weeks away!
