eh, nuthin much.

holy hot flashes, Batman!  so yeah, there's that.  many, many hot flashes a night and day making it difficult to sleep through the night.  and from what i understand, i'd better just get used to it!  apparently that's a side effect of the med i'll be on for the next FIVE years, as well.  right now i'm taking advantage of the bald head and cooling off by snatching off my scarf or hat.  it is good for something!  sometimes scary but whatevs.

another new thing is the numb fingers.  right now it's mostly in my middle and index fingers and thumb.  it makes for adventures in typing and using the touch pad on the computer!  oh, and texting.  can't freakin' text without having to go back and correct 'em!  and i have to correct spelling because i'm crazy about correct spelling.  (that pesky OCD thing again.)  if i can remember how to spell the word, that is!  that's just part of this chemo drug and ought to go away when we get done. 

besides being insanely tired yesterday, that's all i got.  um, yeah.  i can so deal with this!

since, for me, chemo is the most effective diet i'd NEVER EVER recommend, i've lost a bit of weight.  and i really ain't got nuthin' to be losin'.  so now my job is to EAT.  it's not necessarily a good thing when your skinny jeans fall down, folks.  it ain't cute.  and don't tell me i'm too old for skinny jeans.  i know this.  i do it anyway.  my tastebuds aren't back completely but i am hungry, so there's a start.  i'm thinking a strict regimen of eating, sitting on my behind, eating, and sleeping might work.  tough work but i think i'm up for it.  especially with the holidays coming!

speaking of the coming holidays...i think i'm gonna decorate for Christmas soon.  cuss me and tell me i'm rushing things if you must i did wait until after Halloween!, but know i'm doing it because i *really* want it to get here already!  December 11th is the LAST CHEMO SESSION!  not that i'm counting or anything.  ha!  i want those decorations up and reminding me every day that my gift this year is being DONE.  with chemo, anyway.  there's lots more to deal with later but you know what i mean.  so we're gonna get our Charlie Brown Christmas on!  we're gonna sing our Christmas carols and drink our egg nog!  sugar cookie flavor egg nog, y'all.  oh. my. goodness. and we're gonna deck the crap outta these halls!
