no, YOU look tired.
by now i've figured out that "you look tired" really means "you look like poo but i don't want to come out and say it". so from now on, just say it. and if i *look* tired, i probably AM. or i just woke up from a nap! no big deal...everybody gets tired, don't they? and i'm usually up for a good nap anyway!
and while we're on the subject...can we PLEASE stop asking how i'm feeling all the time? yes, i KNOW you ask because you care and want to know. i understand. seriously, i am super blessed that anyone cares enough to ask. but what you gotta understand is that i get asked that by everyone. all. day. long. if you see me, chances are i'm feeling pretty well. if you don't, chances are...well...that i'm napping/don't feel well/have a headache/don't want to be around people/am busy/already have on my jammies and don't want to go out/still have my jammies on and don't want to go out/whatever. so how's about you just say hi and ask how things are going? or something of that nature. surprise me. ;o)
for probably the third time ever in my life, my face is dry. like, DRY dry. the first time was after i had Little Dude and all the hormones were going crazy. the other time was when i started using retin-a and pretty much burnt my face off. okay, maybe that's an exaggeration. no. that's actually a pretty accurate description of how it felt! just another one of those lovely side effects! so i'm having to dig out all the moisturizer samples from my makeup bonuses. good thing i save all that stuff! right around my eyes is the most dry so i'll have to really stay on that. i have enough problems without my face cracking!
and i'm probably gettin' my hopes up for nothing BUT...i see a few rogue eyebrow hairs! why would i get so excited about this? uh DUH! i haven't done my eyebrows since my hair fell out. i *hope* it's a sign that those hair producing cells are wakin' back up! i'm hopeful but i'm not gonna hold my breath. from what i've read, it takes from 2-4 weeks after treatment is over for hair to start growing back. and, as with everything chemo related, everyone is different. it'll get here when it gets here. as we've already established, i'm not a patient girl!
God is good...all the time, y'all!
