well, i just got my appetite back yesterday so that must mean it's time for another chemo treatment! fortunately, the appetite held on until i could eat a good lunch. as the bestie pointed out, i'm a quarter of the way done now! and half done with what the doctor said is the "roughest part" of chemo. i reserve the right to call shenanigans on that. anyway, i thought i'd blog a bit before i go to bed...for the next couple of days!
the hair is still hangin' in there. today i was told that it usually starts falling out after the second treatment. but know what? i'm okay with it now. i dealt with it on my own terms and now i'm ready. i'm just gonna buzz it off once it starts. i still have a LOT of hair and when it comes out, it's gonna get messy. aaaannnnd i just pulled out about 10 hairs at once by running my hands through my hair. oops.
Little Dude's 7th birthday is this weekend. i can not believe my baby boy is SEVEN! he's so smart, kind, crazy, annoying c'mon your kids know how to get on that last nerve too, talkative, and just all around wonderful! i can't wait to see what God has planned for him because it's gonna be amazing!
okay, that's gotta be it for tonight. i need headache meds, nausea meds, and a shower. hopefully i won't clog the drain with hair! we'll see! sorry folks...there's just not that much going on!
