week 3.

as the title of today's entry suggests, today marks 3 weeks since the last chemo.  not that i'm counting.  yeah right!  i'm TOTALLY counting!  and we all know i've been whining thinking/talking about my hair an obessive amount a perfectly acceptable amount some amount.  so of course i was clicking around on the ol' internets the other day looking up stuff about hair growth after chemo.  what the typical rate is, if herceptin slows it down (i think it does.  i'm just sayin'.), and ways to speed it up.  anywho, i ran across a gal's blog in which she chronicled her own hair growth after chemo!  she took pictures each week (or every other) and posted them.  fyi, she was on herceptin too!  and i so looked at the first 16-20 something weeks, obvi.  i thought this would be a GREAT idea for myself!  hopefully i'll be able to see progress this way, too.  and as tuesday was treatment day during chemo, i decided it'd be the day for documenting hair progress.  SO, i'm starting today!

here's how this is gonna work...
-take pics on tuesday each week
-no makeup (SCARY!) so as to better see progress with lashes and brows
-pics of face, top, right side, left side, and back of my weirdo, spotty head
-rejoice or cry about progress or lack thereof!

so without further ado, i present...WEEK 3!

brows and lashes.  there's waaay less on the right well, this left than the left well, this right.  what's up with that?

if you look closely you can see fuzz on the top.  it's all pretty blonde right now so it doesn't really show up.












and there you have it!  stay tuned for next week where hopefully there will be some progress.  but probably not.  <sigh> 

p.s. -- i'm taking these pictures myself.  that's why they're so terrible!  sorry 'bout that.  :o)
