6 weeks

today marks six weeks post chemo and i'm feeling great!  well, i have a cold but that doesn't count.

i've decided this part is a lot like puberty...just WAY better!  everything is changing and getting into a new "normal" and it's a little crazy.  why is it WAY better?  1) i'm not in laaaaate high school and 2) i'm GUARANTEED an awesome set of...um..."girls"!  hahaha!

on the hair front, i'm seeing real progress!  i even went out with no hat today.  it was finally warm enough!  it's been too cold to let the bald noggin out.  we can see hair without having to get super duper close.  it's pretty fine, obviously pretty thin, really soft, and mixed blonde and black/dark.

so, here's what it looks like!

look closely and you can see teeny tiny baby eyelashes!  my right eye literally has 2 long lashes left.  ha!
eyebrows are filling in too.

this is a little bit more difficult to see.  sorry!

i can see hair!

and this one is just because i seem to be like this a lot...
feeling my nice, new, soft HAIR!

i'm thinkin' i'll do pictures every 2 weeks.  i see and feel! a LOT of progress this time and it is pretty encouraging!

we've got an appointment with the plastic surgeon on Thursday and we should find out when the final reconstruction will be.  i'm ready to get this show on the road!

blessings abound around here!
