my hands and feet are becoming more of an issue lately. they're tingly, burny, and numb all at the same time. yes, i realize that makes absolutely no sense but that's how it is. i've also got this weird achy feeling in the knuckles of my left hand and starting in my right foot. weird how it's opposite sides, isn't it? so they've increased the med i'm taking for this particular issue and we'll see how that goes. it's bearable but pretty annoying.
this week has gone by pretty quickly! i've restarted the countdown clock because tuesday is THE day! i'm feeling even better than i was at the beginning of the week, too. i guess i kinda knew treatment would be postponed but didn't want to believe it. good ol' denial!
since my counts were so low, this week has been about minimizing germy contact. as it is close to Christmas, i have "things" to do. secret missions and whatnot. i've been going out during the day when most folks are at school or work or late well, after 8pm in the evenings to avoid crowds. i have two things of sanitizer in my purse and they get used frequently! heck, i'd stay in a bubble if it meant i could get this mess over and done with!
the ol' eyebrows are...sad. especially the right one! the lashes are hangin' in there and lookin' good...especially when i have mascara on. oh yeah! and my hair? it's slowly but surely filling back in! i'm nowhere near hatless status yet but i can see progress! once i'm DONE with chemo, it'll get even better. wonder just how much biotin i can take a day to speed up the process?
