party time! excellent!

last night my WONDERFUL sister-in-law threw me a "no more chemo" party.  and it was SO great!  i've never had a party this big be all about me...i was kinda nervous!  i was surrounded by people i love.  we ate.  we laughed.  a LOT.  and we celebrated the end of chemo!  it was...so perfect.

my Daddy even gave me such a wonderful toast!  y'all!  i have never had a toast in my honor!  and of course, my Daddy being my Daddy, it was so super special.  and i cried.  and i tried to say a few words but was just so overwhelmed i couldn't say everything i wanted to say.  so here goes...


i have to thank my Love for doing...everything.  he is my love, my life, my inspiration yes, that's from a Chicago song but i think of him every time i hear it! and i am so very, VERY blessed that he is my husband.  he is, to put it in a single word, amazing.

thank you to my family.  thank you for every hug, every phone call, every text, every tear you shed, and every prayer you said.  from both near and far!  i am so thankful that y'all are so darn great...if a bit crazy!  ;o)  but i definitely wouldn't have it any other way. 
and an extra special thanks to my sister-in-law/personal nurse.  thank you for being concerned about me.  thank you for explaining the things you could when we didn't quite understand.  thank you for getting "up close and personal"  with me and dealing with the really, really gross stuff.  thank you for being so willing to help even though you've got more than enough on your plate.  i don't know what i'd do without you. 

thank you to each and every one of my friends.  i am just...honored by your friendship.  your love, kindness, and support overwhelm me every day.  you bless me beyond measure.
a special mention to my Judson ladies.  what an AWESOME thing it is to be a part of such a great group of women.  we are definitely a...ah...special breed!  every card, gift, and prayer you sent brought me to tears...in a good way!  i appreciate each one of you and am so thankful to be a Judson girl!
and another extra special thanks to my bestie.  you are simply the most AWESOME friend ever.  you are such a faithful friend and selfless lady.  you make me laugh, you let me vent, and you check me when i need a check.  i want to be like you when i grow up. 

i couldn't have done it without y'all.  i am definitely one blessed girl.
